Les Bassins des Lumières Tickets
Les Bassins des Lumières
Located at the former submarine base in Bordeaux, Les Bassins des Lumières is the world’s largest digital arts center.
With your ticket, you can freely explore this massive space dedicated to immersive exhibitions. Throughout the year, its projections explore themes as diverse as the works of the great masters of art history, contemporary creations, the conquest of space, and the world of comics.
The venue features four distinct areas:
- The Cube: a soundproofed, isolated space measuring 220 square meters and 8 meters high, focused on contemporary immersive art.
- The Immersive Cistern: a 155-square-meter, 7-meter-high area where visitors can sit and view digital projections from a different angle.
- Large Mooring Buoys: an area on the water where images from the exhibition program are projected.
- The Base Museum: an educational space to learn about the military and architectural history of the former submarine base.
The self-guided tour is estimated to take approximately 1 hour.
