Gulf of Orosei Boat Trip

Day Trip Details

At the indicated time, we'll meet at Via Cala Luna 1 and head to the port to start this boat cruise along the Gulf of Orosei. All aboard!

During the trip, we'll see the coves, ravines and most beautiful spots on this stretch of Sardinia's east coast. Weather permitting, we'll make several half-hour stops at its most famous beaches, such as Cala Luna, Cala Mariolu and Cala Sisine. You'll be amazed by the crystal-clear waters!

As well as that, we'll stop briefly at Piscina Venere and Cala Goloritzé to take the most spectacular photos with this beautiful spot in the background. Did you know that the latter is the result of a landslide that occurred in the 1960s?

But that's not all. During the boat trip, you can also toast with a glass of wine and enjoy an individual slice of a typical Italian cake at the bar on board. The perfect finishing touch!

Once the experience is over, we'll dock back at the starting point, where we'll arrive after 7 to 8 hours of sailing.

Tour of the Grotta del Bue Marino

When booking, you can choose the option that includes a visit to the Grotta del Bue Marino. We'll explore one of the most popular caves in the area, where you'll have the chance to disembark and take a 1-kilometer guided walking tour to discover the refuge of the monk seals along the Sardinian coast.

After approximately 1 hour at the grotto, we'll board the boat again and continue the tour around the Gulf of Orosei.

Important: admission to the Grotta del Bue Marino is not included. You will need to purchase it in advance following the instructions we'll send after booking, or buy it on the day at the ticket office. Without this ticket, entry to the cave will not be possible.

Itinerary Order

Please keep in mind that during peak season, due to the number of boats and tourists, the order of visits to the coves and in the itinerary may change. We guarantee 3 to 4 stops at coves that can vary from the pre-established itinerary and 2 stops to swim.

Please bear in mind that stops will be made depending on the weather conditions at the time and the limited capacity of each beach. Swimming stops will take place near the boat rather than directly at the beach, and the spot will be chosen by the captain.

Please note that, due to local regulations, we may not always be able to dock at Cala Luna. In that case, we'll dock at another beach in the area.

Languages

There will be recorded commentary on board during the journey. These explanations will always be in several languages and will be broadcast on the basis of the majority nationality of the passengers. If you choose the option with a visit to the Grotta del Bue Marino, please note that inside, the recordings will only be in Italian and English.
