By booking this guided tour of the Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba, you'll discover the interior of this jewel of Andalusian architecture, which, along with the Alhambra in Granada, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Together with the Alhambra in Granada, it is one of Spain's most important monuments, boasting a unique blend of cultures and architectural styles. Plus, you'll avoid the long queues that usually form at the ticket offices.

Visiting Córdoba's Mosque-Cathedral (mezquita-catedral in Spanish) with a guide will not only save you time queuing, but will also allow you to discover the full history of this incredible monument. Here are just some of the things you'll discover:

The construction of the Mosque-Cathedral began in 785
It was the second-largest mosque in the world, after the Great Mosque of Mecca, until the Sultan Ahmed Mosque was built in Turkey
The mosque was consecrated as a Roman Catholic church in the 13th-century
It was listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1984
The impressive building combines Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque and Umayyad styles

Please note that, due to organizational reasons, the order of the visits in the itinerary may vary.
