Translate this opinion into English.

The pickup was super punctual, and the staff were very friendly. They also helped us manage the payment of the fees for the tour. Overall, it's an activity I would recommend, although I would have appreciated a bit more information about the route. Opinion translated. Show original.

The guide was very clear with the trail directions. We hiked part of PR1 and all of PR3; the allotted time was sufficient, even extra. Although I don't consider PR3 to be easy—there's a lot of rough terrain, and you really have to be careful—the guide I had hired spoke Spanish, but this tour was entirely in English, so keep that in mind when giving directions.

Translate this opinion into English.

This is a self-guided activity, so there is no guide during the hike. As indicated in the details, it is conducted with a Spanish-speaking driver, although a bilingual format may be used occasionally for operational reasons. The driver is responsible for transportation to the start of the hike and pickup at the end. Opinion translated. Show original.

I gave it this rating because there's no guide to explain anything; you can do it on your own. It's a very beautiful place and highly recommended if you enjoy hiking.

Misleading website fails to prominently clarify prior to booking that the hike may only be completed when independently obtaining a hiking permit....

In the description of the voucher and the reservation, we specify that the fees for the walk are not included in the price, so they must be paid in advance of the visit. We're sorry you didn't see this earlier.

The transfer was quite unpleasant; we had to wait over two hours in the blazing sun to be picked up, as they demanded punctuality from us but not from themselves. I wouldn't recommend it.

Translate this opinion into English.

We sincerely apologize for the wait and inconvenience caused during the transfer. We work with local transport providers, and although collection times are established to organize the service, delays can sometimes occur due to operational or traffic circumstances. However, we have forwarded your comments to the responsible team to review what happened and prevent similar situations in the future. Opinion translated. Show original.

Unica pecca: poco tempo a disposizione. Translate this opinion into English.

A wonderful experience, and the convenience of having a pick-up right outside the hotel. The trek is moderately difficult with a fair amount of elevation gain. The only drawback: limited time. If you want to watch the sunrise at your leisure, you'll have to rush to complete the trek in time for the meeting point. Opinion translated. Show original.

Watching the sunrise at Pico Arieiro is incredible, but the route is more complicated and difficult than indicated. Due to last year's fires, the route is not yet open, and we were offered an alternative route, PR3. Hiking shoes are essential, and be very careful with the slopes and descents, as there are large steps with stones that make the route difficult and make you pay more attention to the ground to avoid falling than to the views.

The activity is great because the scenery itself is. In the end, you'll be able to explore the route on your own. The price seems excessive for just a shuttle, since the map they send is available at visitmadeira.com. Furthermore, the route has been closed since last year due to the fires, and they don't tell you this until you've made your reservation. I think there's been enough time to change the name of the activity to avoid confusion.

The excursion has been such a truly wonderful experience. The organization was excellent, with clear and timely communication from the very beginning. Everything ran smoothly and punctually, which made the whole trip stress-free and enjoyable. The landscapes were stunning, and it was definitely worth it for anyone who enjoys nature and a bit of adventure. However, it’s important to note that the hike involves several hours of continuous walking. 100%

What I liked was the route, there is no guide and you go at your own pace. As for the language, the guide does speak Spanish but during the transfer, since everyone speaks English, he only focused on explaining things to them and I didn't understand anything, but when I turned on Google Maps I could see where we were going... In this activity, for me, the important thing was the route itself and that they simply act as a taxi... unless the group is Spanish and they speak your language... I missed that a lot.

Translate this opinion into English.

Translate this opinion into English.

If there was only one agency to contact for the quality and efficiency of the service it would be this one! Super on time and super friendly driver who gave us great advice on restaurants, bars, hikes. The sunrise at Pico Do Arieero was wonderful as well as the entire hike. Lots of people on the path but it must be admitted that the “mountain” public is often kind and respectful. Opinion translated. Show original.

Translate this opinion into English.

Everything was fine, except that I booked the excursion in Spanish and the guide did not speak any of my language, which made the excursion difficult since we received information that I could not understand. He was super friendly but it was not the excursion I would have liked to take. Opinion translated. Show original.

The climb to Arieiro peak was perfect, beautiful, another thing was the hike they offer afterwards, the PR3 donkey trail, they explained everything to us in English, the map they gave us is a link that is from Google and you manage, what happened? We got lost, it was desperate, we didn't know where we had to go. They called us to find out where we were, but in the end they left and didn't wait for us, I had to call an Uber to get back to the hotel, A DISASTER!!! Never again! They should wait longer for pick-up!!!
