Tour Details

The itinerary will vary depending on the time of year:

Winter Route (May 1st–September 30th)

At the scheduled time, we’ll pick you up from your hotel in Ushuaia and take you to the End of the World Station.

There, those who wish to do so can take a 1-hour ride on the End of the World Train; the ticket for this ride is not included in the tour price. Those who choose not to ride this historic train can explore the valley on foot, where the snow-covered landscapes will captivate you instantly.

Next, we’ll rejoin the rest of the group to enjoy a hiking trail through Tierra del Fuego National Park. For approximately 2 hours, we’ll follow an easy trail through the area around Lake Acigami, Laguna Verde, and the Ovando River.

Upon reaching the banks of the Lapataia River, we’ll stop for 1 hour at an air-conditioned restaurant to enjoy a delicious lunch. The menu includes: homemade pumpkin soup as a starter; Tierra del Fuego lamb stew as the main course; brownie with berry sauce and mixed cream for dessert; and for drinks, you can choose between mineral water or Patagonian Malbec red wine. Vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options, among others, are also available.

After lunch, we’ll paddle for 1 hour through the icy waters of the Lapataia River until it flows into the sea at the stunning Lapataia Bay. If you’d rather not paddle, you can continue by vehicle to the bay.

Finally, from Lapataia Bay, we’ll return by vehicle to your hotel in Ushuaia, where we’ll conclude this 8-hour tour.

Summer Itinerary (October 1st–April 30th)

We’ll pick you up at the scheduled time from your hotel in Ushuaia and from there we’ll travel to Tierra del Fuego National Park.

Once there, we’ll go on a 3-hour hike through the park. We’ll follow trails ranging from easy to moderate in difficulty until we reach the banks of the Lapataia River. There, in a covered area, we’ll enjoy a delicious lunch. The menu includes: a selection of cheeses, olives, mortadella, and marinated beans as an appetizer; a Tierra del Fuego lamb stew as the main course; a brownie with red berry sauce and mixed cream for dessert; and mineral water or Patagonian Malbec red wine to drink. Vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options, among others, are also available.

After lunch, we’ll head to Lake Acigami to paddle for 1 hour to Lapataia Bay. If you’d rather not paddle, you can continue by car to the bay.

Finally, from Lapataia Bay, we’ll return by car to your hotel in Ushuaia, where we’ll conclude this 7-hour tour.
