Translate this opinion into English.

I had Rai as my guide and he was excellent! He knows so much about the city, its history, and gave us great recommendations at the end for places to eat traditional food, drink good beer, and stroll through less touristy areas to see other sides of Vienna. Opinion translated. Show original.

Translate this opinion into English.

The guide was very pleasant, but the tour turned out to be quite heavy. I think it's unnecessary to give so many specific dates; in my opinion, they don't add much and make it drag on. It would be enough to place what you want to explain in a more general context. Opinion translated. Show original.

Translate this opinion into English.

We really enjoyed Matías's explanations as our guide. I only have to mention that he spoke a little fast, and since there were so many of us in the group, we missed some details. Matías was very knowledgeable, and we had a perfect two hours exploring that incredible city! Opinion translated. Show original.

A very good tour, but above all, the historical, artistic, and anecdotal explanations from the guide, Angelo, were noteworthy, delivered with theatricality and humor. On a scale of 1 to 10, like in my primary school in Argentina, it deserves a "Very good, 10, congratulations!" Opinion translated. Show original.

Translate this opinion into English.

Our guide Angelo was excellent with his explanations. There was a problem at the beginning because a group of 10 people had made reservations in three separate groups, but he explained that Civitatis' policy didn't allow it. It was tense, but eventually those people left and the tour continued. Opinion translated. Show original.

Translate this opinion into English.

I really enjoyed the free tour. The route was suitable, simple, and accessible for everyone. The guide chose the right spots at the stops, both for shade and tranquility. The tour content was excellent. Our guide, Renata, told us a lot about the city's history, as well as its current customs and culture. Everything was well-organized and condensed into a pleasant two-hour tour. She answered every single question, always with a smile. I would definitely do the tour with her again. Opinion translated.

Our guide, Angelo, clearly has extensive knowledge of the city and country's history; he took us through several interesting historical sites in Vienna's city center. At the beginning of the tour, he had a run-in with a group of tourists who angered him, and for most of the tour, he was irritable and annoyed, which prevented the tourists from interacting with him.

I think the guide knew a lot, and although his explanation was good, he didn't show us the main buildings and monuments; instead, we entered the Palace from the back. For a tourist who might only be in a city for a few hours, it's important to know and understand the most relevant and representative sights.

I'm giving it an average rating because the guide himself was very knowledgeable and made the tour very enjoyable and interesting. He clearly had a passion for the subject. He spoke excellent Spanish, which added value to the visit. The downside was that some comments had political undertones or reflected a particular ideology. I believe tours should be neutral, without right-wing or left-wing connotations, as we are already polarized enough in Spain.

Translate this opinion into English.

Translate this opinion into English.

Excelente guía! Disfrutamos mucho nuestra visita a Viena. Translate this opinion into English.

1. There were approximately 50 people in the group; I don't think that was the most suitable size. 2. The scheduled time was not followed. 3. There was a lack of historical context and no coherent narrative. 4. The most positive aspect was the guide's unique charm, which made the tour more enjoyable.

I've done other free tours in other cities, and this is the first time I haven't found it worthwhile. It's better to spend your time visiting the monuments on your own. The guide doesn't stop at important sites (for example, he walks right past the main facades of the Hofburg Palace and doesn't even mention them). He talks a lot, but you don't see much because there's hardly any walking and he explains almost nothing about the architecture. I don't recommend it unless you have plenty of time.

There were too many people in the group. There were about 50 of us. The guide changed our 9:45 tour to the 10:45 one. It was strange because the guide who changed it was saying at 9:45 that we weren't meeting the minimum number of people. And then there was the same French guide who told us to come back an hour later with 50 people. Something was definitely off with the guide. But he made us lose an hour. The guide was excellent.

The guide provided us with information, but I would have liked it if, when booking the tour in Spanish, there had been a Spanish-speaking guide. He struggled terribly to make us understand, but the truth is that there were many things that couldn’t be heard because there were about 40 people, and he didn’t have a radio guide. He could barely finish because his throat was sore from so much effort. Important details to keep in mind.

I travelled with my partner
